Coal shipments by China’s railways up 17.9 percent in Jan-Aug

In August this year, coal shipments by Chinese railways amounted to 181 million mt, up 15.3 percent year on year, as announced by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

In the first eight months of the current year, coal shipments by Chinese railways amounted to 1.43 billion mt, rising by 17.9 percent year on year.
