CISA mills' average daily crude steel output up 5.76% in early February

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in early February (February 1-10) this year, the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.9219 million mt, up 5.76 percent compared to late January (January 21-31).

According to the CISA's previous figures, in late January this year, the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had totaled 1.8172 million mt, up 0.55 percent compared to mid-January (January 11-20).

Meanwhile, as of February 10, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 14.2003 million mt, up 32.0 percent compared to January 31.
