CISA: China’s average daily crude steel output up slightly in late March

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in late March (Mar. 21-30) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.6758 million mt, up 0.49 percent compared to mid-March (Mar. 11-20). In late March, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.0719 million mt, indicating a rise of 0.40 percent compared with mid-March.
 
According to the previous figures from the CISA, in mid-March this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.6676 million mt, down 0.47 percent compared to early March (Mar. 1-10). In mid-March, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.0637 million mt, indicating a decline of one percent compared with early March.
