Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant (ChTPZ), a leading Russian producer of welded and seamless steel pipes and tubes, and supplier of integrated solutions for the Russian oil and gas industry as well as for a variety of other industries in Russia, has completed pipe deliveries to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).

In total, ChTPZ supplied about 25,000 mt of pipes with 1,020 mm outside diameter and 10.6 and 12.5 mm wall thicknesses made from steel grade X65 for the Caspian pipeline to transport Caspian oil from the Tengiz field to the Novorossiysk-2 Marine Terminal on Russia's Black Sea coast. The Caspian pipeline is also a major export route for oil from the Kashagan and Karachaganak fields.
