Chinese crude steel output totals 50.36 million mt in February

According to the latest data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics, in February the country produced 50.36 million mt of crude steel, 47.50 million mt of pig iron and 55.59 million mt of finished steel, increasing respectively by 22.5 percent, 17.2 percent and 18.1 percent year on year. During the first two months of 2010, China's outputs of pig iron, crude steel and finished steel grew respectively by 22.3 percent, 25.4 percent and 27.7 percent year on year.
