China's top ten mills produce 37% of national crude steel in Nov.

China's top ten steel mills produced 14.68 million mt of crude steel in November. This figure accounted for 37 percent of the 39.69 million metric tons of total crude steel production in the country in the same month. The crude steel production of the top ten mills indicated a 9.6 percent increase from the 13.39 million metric tons produced in November 2006.

In the January-November 2007 period, the total crude steel production of China's top ten mills reached 155.73 million mt, up 10 percent from the 141.57 million mt recorded for January-November 2006.

Meanwhile, the top ten mills produced 13.55 million mt of finished steel in November 2007, accounting for 28.4 percent of the 47.68 million mt of total national finished steel production in the month in question.
