China’s steel scrap exports fall by 98.7 percent in January-February

In the January-February period of the current year, China exported 1,582 mt of steel scrap, down 98.7 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

Meanwhile, China imported 40,000 mt of scrap in the given period, declining by 87.5 percent year on year.
