China’s steel scrap exports decrease by 98.1 percent in January

In January this year, China exported 1,440 mt of steel scrap, down 98.1 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

Meanwhile, China imported 30,000 mt of scrap in the given month, decreasing by 71.8 percent year on year.
