China's steel industry shaping on coast

A new map of China's steel industry location is getting clear. On this map, the remarkable feature is that there appeared some bright points on the sea line. On the older edition of this map, there were nothing located in these areas. They are China's new steelmaking bases and their appearance means a new steel industry layout is forming. From the north to the south, these new steelmaking bases are Yingkou, Tangshan, Rizhao, Zhanjiang and Fangcheng. Adding Shanghai, the existing steelmaking base, there are totally 6 big steel bases. The shareholders of these steel bases are all China's the biggest steel corporations: An-Ben Steel (Yingkou), Shougang Steel (Tangshan), Laiyang & Jinan Steel (Rizhao), Baosteel (Shanghai), Baosteel (Zhanjiang) and Wuhan Steel (Fangcheng). Among these 6 steel bases, they are all new manufacturing bases and still under construction except Shanghai.
