China’s steel bar exports rise by 10.4 percent in January-February

In the January-February period this year, China’s export volumes of steel bars, angles/channels, steel plate and wire rod amounted to 1.87 million mt, 500,000 mt, 6.43 million mt and 300,000 mt, up 10.4 percent, down 5.1 percent, rising by 20.9 percent and declining by 6.1 percent year on year, respectively, according to the Chinese customs authorities.

In the January-February period, China exported 10.7 million mt of finished steel, up 12.9 percent year on year, as previously announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
