China’s semi-finished steel imports up 133.8 percent in Jan-Oct

In the January-October period this year, China imported 920,000 mt of semi-finished steel, surging by 133.8 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities.

Meanwhile, in October alone China imported 30,000 mt of semi-finished steel, down 66.8 percent year on year.
