China’s semi-finished imports decline by 38 percent in January-April

In the January-April period of the current year, China imported 290,000 mt of semi-finished steel, decreasing by 38.0 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities.

In April alone, China imported 30,000 mt of semi-finished steel, down 73.3 percent year on year.
