China’s scrap exports down 83.8 percent in January-November

In November this year, China exported 295 mt of steel scrap, down 99.9 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the January-November period of this year, China exported 332,081 mt of scrap, down 83.8 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, China imported 80,000 mt of scrap in November this year, down 58.1 percent year on year. In the January-November period, China's scrap imports totaled 1.23 million mt, decreasing by 41.4 percent year on year.
