China’s retail sales of consumer goods up 9.2 percent in Jan-Oct

In the first ten months of the current year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 30.9834 trillion ($4.46 trillion), up 9.2 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In October alone, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 3.5534 trillion ($0.51 trillion), up 8.6 percent year on year.

In particular, in the first ten months this year, total automotive vehicle sales in China reached a value of RMB 3.1323 trillion ($0.45 trillion), decreasing by 0.6 percent year on year.
