China’s retail sales of consumer goods up 10.3 percent in Jan-Oct

In October this year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 3.4241 trillion ($0.52 trillion), up 10.0 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-October period this year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods reached RMB 29.7419 trillion ($4.49 trillion), rising by 10.3 percent year on year. In particular, in the given period, total automotive vehicle sales in China reached a value of RMB 3.3929 trillion ($0.51 trillion), increasing by 6.3 percent year on year.
