China’s iron ore imports increase by 8.6 percent in January-April

In April this year, China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate amounted to 82.231 million mt, down 13.324 million mt compared to the previous month and decreasing by 2.01 percent year on year, while in the January-April period this year China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate totaled 353.094 million mt, up 8.6 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
