China’s iron ore imports decrease by 5.5 percent in January-February

In the January-February period this year, China’s imports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate amounted to 174.401 million mt, down 5.5 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on March 8.  

In the given period, China imported 1.998 million mt of finished steel, declining by 9.9 percent year on year.
