China’s industrial value-added output up 10 percent in Jan-Sept

In September this year, the industrial value-added of large and medium-sized enterprises in China increased by 9.2 percent, up 0.3 percentage points compared to August, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics on October 18. In September, industrial value-added output of domestic heavy industry rose 9.3 percent, while light industry saw an increase of nine percent, both year on year. In January-September, the industrial value-added of large and medium-sized enterprises in China increased by 10 percent year on year.
 
In September, China's western regions saw industrial output growth of 12.4 percent, followed by 9.5 percent in the central regions and 8.3 percent in eastern regions.
