China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.8 percent to RMB 41.8961 trillion ($6.25 trillion) in the first half of the current year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
In the first half this year, China’s domestic primary, secondary and tertiary industries contributed RMB 2.2087 trillion ($0.33 trillion), RMB 16.9299 trillion ($2.53 trillion) and RMB 22.7576 trillion ($3.4 trillion) to the country’s GDP, rising by 3.2 percent, 6.1 percent and 7.6 percent on year-on-year basis, respectively.
