China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.9 percent to RMB 59.3288 trillion ($8.95 trillion) in the first nine months of the current year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
In the first nine months this year, China’s domestic primary, secondary and tertiary industries contributed RMB 4.1229 trillion ($0.62 trillion), RMB 23.8109 trillion ($3.59 trillion) and RMB 31.3951 trillion ($4.74 trillion) to the country’s GDP, rising by 3.7 percent, 6.3 percent and 7.8 percent respectively on year-on-year basis.
