China's GDP increases by 6.9 percent in 2017

China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.9 percent to RMB 82.7122 trillion ($12.84 trillion) in 2017, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In 2017, China’s domestic primary, secondary and tertiary industries contributed RMB 6.5468 trillion ($1.02 trillion), RMB 33.4623 trillion ($5.19 trillion) and RMB 42.7032 trillion ($6.63 trillion) to the country’s GDP, rising by 3.9 percent, 6.1 percent and 8.0 percent respectively on year-on-year basis.
