China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.3 percent to RMB 45.0933 trillion ($6.56 trillion) in the first half of the current year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
Meanwhile, GDP in the provinces of Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shandong amounted to RMB 5.050117 trillion, RMB 4.85827 trillion and RMB 4.18233 trillion in the first half of the year, increasing by 6.5 percent, 6.5 percent and 5.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the provincial bureaus of statistics.
