As of the end of September this year, China’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to $3.10851 trillion, up $16.983 billion or 0.5 percent compared to the figure recorded at the end of August, as announced by China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange on October 10. September was the first time since June 2014 that an eighth consecutive month-on-month increase was observed in China’s foreign exchange reserves.
