China’s fixed asset investments up six percent in H1

In the January-June period of the current year, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 29.7316 trillion ($4.44 trillion), up 6.0 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question down 0.1 percentage point compared to that recorded for the January-May period this year. In June alone, fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China increased by 0.48 percent month on month.

In the January-June period this year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector was up 0.2 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector rose by 6.8 percent year on year.
