China’s fixed asset investments up 7.3 percent in January-October

In the January-October period of the current year, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 51.7818 trillion ($7.8 trillion), up 7.3 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question down 0.2 percentage points compared to that recorded in the January-September period of the current year. In October, fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China increased by 0.52 percent month on month.

In the January-October period of the current year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector amounted to RMB 744.0 billion ($112.2 billion), down 9.1 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 15.8856 trillion ($2.4 trillion), up 4.1 percent year on year.
