China’s fixed asset investments up 5.4 percent in January-September

In the January-September period of the current year, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 48.3442 trillion ($6.98 trillion), up 5.4 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), with the year-on-year increase rate in question up 0.1 percentage point compared to that recorded for the January-August period this year. In September alone, fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China increased by 0.43 percent month on month.

In the January-September period this year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector was up 6.2 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector rose by 8.7 percent year on year.
