In October this year, China exported 5.50 million mt of finished steel, down 7.56 percent month on month and increasing by 10.4 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on November 8.
In October, China exported 838,000 mt of metallurgical coke, increasing by 57.8 percent month on month and up 146.5 percent year on year.
In the January-October period of the current year, China exported 58.413 million mt of finished steel, down 9.3 percent, while it exported 7.762 million mt of coke, increasing by 27.6 percent, both year on year.
