China’s finished steel exports down 27.1 percent in January-February

In February this year, China exported 4.847 million mt of finished steel, down 4.24 percent month on month and decreasing by 15.7 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on March 8.

In February, China exported 647,000 mt of metallurgical coke, decreasing by 6.64 percent month on month and down 20.1 percent year on year.

In the January-February period of the year, China exported 9.497 million mt of finished steel, down 27.1 percent, and 1.334 million mt of coke, decreasing by 16.9 percent, year on year.
