China's excavator output up 49.5 percent in April

In April of the current year, excavator output in China increased to 43,622 units, up 49.5 percent year on year, while rising by 40.3 percent month on month, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-April period of the year, excavator output in China amounted to 112,927 units, up 1.3 percent year on year, shifting from the year-on-year decline of 19.9 percent recorded in the first quarter of the year, reflecting the booming infrastructure construction in China following effective control of the coronavirus.
