China’s current account surplus totals $71.2 billion in Q3

In the third quarter of the current year, China’s current account surplus amounted to $71.2 billion, as announced by the China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange (CSAFE). In particular, in the given period China’s goods trade surplus and primary income surplus amounted to $137.1 billion and $4.8 billion, while services trade deficit and secondary income deficit amounted to $69.5 billion and $1.2 billion, respectively.

In the January-September period this year, China’s current account surplus totaled $174.7 billion. In particular, in the given period China’s goods trade surplus amounted to $366.9 billion, while services trade deficit, primary income deficit and secondary income deficit amounted to $183.0 billion, $4.8 billion and $4.5 billion, respectively.
