China’s CPI rises by 2.1 percent in March

In March this year, China’s consumer price index (CPI) indicated a year-on-year increase of 2.1 percent, down 0.8 percentage points compared to the year-on-year growth rate recorded in February, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In the first quarter of the year, China’s consumer price index (CPI) also indicated a year-on-year increase of 2.1 percent.

Meanwhile, China’s consumer price index (CPI) indicated a month-on-month decrease of 1.1 percent in March.
