China’s CPI rises by 1.6 percent in September

In September this year, China’s consumer price index (CPI) indicated a year-on-year increase of 1.6 percent, while it increased by 0.5 percent month on month, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on October 16.

At the same time, the average CPI during January-September period of the year rose by 1.5 percent year on year.
