China’s coking coal imports down 6.3 percent in January-August

In August this year, China imported 7.0 million mt of coking coal, up 24.8 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the January-August period of the current year, China imported 43.62 million mt of coking coal, decreasing by 6.3 percent year on year.
