China’s coal output up 5.4 percent in January-August

In August this year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 290 million mt, increasing by 4.1 percent year on year, while this increase was 4.4 percentage points lower than that recorded in July, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-August period of the current year, China’s raw coal production totaled 2.3 billion mt, up 5.4 percent year on year.
