China’s coal output rises by 25 percent in January-February

In the January-February period of current year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 620 million mt, rising by 25 percent year on year, while increasing by 17.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

China also imported 41.13 million mt of coal in the first two months this year, down 39.5 percent year on year.
