China’s coal output rises by 11.1 percent in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period of current year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 1.29 billion mt, rising by 11.1 percent year on year, while increasing by 12.5 percent compared to the same period of 2019, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

At the same time, China imported 90.13 million mt of coal in the first four months this year, down 28.8 percent year on year.
