China’s coal output declines by 1.5 percent in January-February

In the January-February period of the current year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 513.67 million mt, decreasing by 1.5 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In January this year, China imported 33.5 million mt of coal, up 19.5 percent year on year, while it imported 17.64 million mt of coal in February, down 15.6 percent year on year.
