In November this year, China’s coal imports totaled 22.05 million mt, up 3.6 percent month on month, while down 18.2 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
In the January-November period of the current year, China’s coal imports amounted to 248.17 million mt, rising by 8.5 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, China exported 750,000 mt of coal in November, decreasing by 8.5 percent year on year, while it exported 7.47 million mt in the January-November period, down 6.9 percent year on year.
