China’s coal and lignite exports down 38.9 percent in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period of the year, China exported 1.42 million mt of coal and lignite, down 38.9 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In April alone, China exported 0.31 million mt of coal and lignite, down 38.1 percent year on year.

In the January-April period, China exported 1.03 million mt of coke, down 60.1 percent year on year. In April alone, China exported 0.35 million mt of coke, down 40.5 percent year on year.
