China’s auto dealer inventory warning index stood at 56.8 percent in June, 2.6 percentage points higher than the 54.2 percent recorded in May, as announced by the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA).

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) has estimated that auto sales in China will total 2.28 million units in June, up four percent month on month, while rising by 11 percent year on year, increasing year on year for the third straight month.

The rainy weather and floods in June negatively affected the demand for auto vehicles, contributing to the rises in auto dealers’ inventories.
