ChinaCoal: Coal Output and Sales Volume Down in January

The commercial coal output from China National Coal Group Corp. (ChinaCoal) totaled 12.65 million mt in January 2014, down 0.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and the sales volume dropped by 16 percent year on year to 11.07 million mt in the given month.

Meanwhile, in 2013 the company's operating revenue amounted to RMB 6.9 billion ($1.12 billion) decreasing by 12.7 percent or RMB 1 billion over the prior year.
