China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 2.2 percent in January-May

Chinese coal miner China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in May this year its coal output amounted to 24.70 million mt, up 2.5 percent, while its coal sales totaled 35.00 million mt, increasing by 3.9 percent, both year on year.

In the January-May period of this year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 120.8 million mt, rising by 4.6 percent, while its coal sales reached 186.2 million mt, increasing by 2.2 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
