China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 11.3 percent in January-May

Chinese coal miner China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in May this year its coal output amounted to 24.80 million mt, up 0.4 percent, while its coal sales totaled 41.40 million mt, increasing by 18.3 percent, both year on year.

In the January-May period this year, the company’s coal output amounted to 120.2 million mt, up 0.5 percent, while its coal sales totaled 165.2 million mt, increasing by 11.3 percent, both year on year.
