China exports 332,784 mt of steel scrap in January-October

In October this year, China exported 502 mt of steel scrap, down 99.8 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the January-October period of this year, China exported 332,784 mt of scrap, down 80.2 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, China imported 70,000 mt of steel scrap in October this year, down 59.3 percent year on year. In the January-October period, China's scrap imports totaled 1.15 million mt, decreasing by 39.8 percent year on year.
