Chilean rebar sales up in July

Chilean rebar sales in July rose 7.8 percent, year-on-year, to 48,449 mt, according to a report from the local chamber of civil construction (CChC).

Chilean rebar sales in July improved 10.4 percent, month-on-month, from 43,871 mt in June 2019.

As for the accumulated period from January to July this year Chilean rebar sales reached 301,635 mt, 1.7 percent down, year-on-year.

Chilean rebar sales have been on an increasing trend since April 2019, when shipments reached 27,267 mt, and then increased to 42,862 mt in May, 43,871 mt in June and 48,449 mt in July.
