Chilean rebar sales increase in March

Chilean rebar sales in March rose 1.1 percent, year-on-year, despite the Covid-19 outbreak, according to the local chamber of civil construction (CChC).

Chilean rebar sales in March reached 51,688 mt, 11.8 percent up, month-on-month, from 46,231 mt.

CChC said Chilean rebar sales in Q1 totaled 148,413 mt, 6.6 percent up, year-on-year, from 139,187 mt in Q1 2019.
