Chilean rebar sales decline sharply in April

Chilean rebar sales in April dropped 32.8 percent, year-on-year, to 27,267 mt, according to a report from local civil construction chamber, CChC.

Chilean rebar sales in April fell 46.7 percent, month-on-month, from 51,440 mt in March 2019.

As for the accumulated period of January to April, Chilean rebar sales reached 166,453 mt, 6.3 percent down, year-on-year.

According to CChC, Chilean rebar sales in April reached its lowest level thus far in the year.
