Chinese steelmaker Chengde Steel has recently signed export orders with South Korea's SK Group for SS400 JIS hot rolled coil, thus expanding its market share in South Korea.
Chengde Steel signed its first export order for SS400 hot rolled coil at the end of last year with the abovementioned South Korean customer, after focusing on developing new steel products aimed at boosting opportunities in the domestic and international markets during the financial crisis. This first order was followed very recently by another order for more than 10 thousand mt of SS400 hot rolled coil from the same customer.
