On March 14, Guangxi Province-based Chengde Group successfully completed hot testing of its cold rolled pickling line No. 1, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) on March 18. A subsidiary of MCC was responsible for carrying out the construction work.
The cold rolled project in question has an annual output capacity of 1.20 million mt and will mainly produce high-end cold rolled stainless steel strip, which is widely used in construction projects, mechanical parts, auto parts, medical apparatus and instruments, and pressure vessels for the chemical industry.
