Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant's HR flats shipments up 20% in Q1

Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing group Mechel, has announced that in the first quarter this year it shipped 123,000 mt of hot rolled (HR) flat steel, up 20 percent compared to the same period last year.

In April this year, the company plans to ship around 27,000 mt of hot rolled flat steel, down 36 percent compared to March.
